A brief biography
of… Shane L. Johnson, D.Min. Consultant, pastor, professor, pastoral counselor, writer, seminar leader, husband, father...
Dr. Johnson brings a wealth of experience to his consulting practice. A committed Christian since age six, he has pastored
five congregations since 1984; has provided pastoral counseling to clergy since 1998; and has taught Bible, leadership and
pastoral theology for three different academic institutions in seven locations since 2000. In 2003 he completed a doctorate
in Virtue-Based Leadership from Ashland Theological Seminary in
Ashland, OH.
Since 1998 Shane has had over 7,000 consultations with leaders and clergy in the areas of sexual
sin and dysfunction, stress, conflict, family issues, etc.
He and his wife Kathy live in Ohio, and are the parents
of four children.
